Clean, spacious house with a big kitchen and nice bedrooms near the beach and play area. Convenient for visiting surrounding areas with attractions like Alnwick, Morpeth, and Hexham. Beautifully decorated and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. Convenient parking on the main road. Good communication with the agent.

We had a fantastic stay at Last Cottage in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea! The cottage was beautifully decorated with a lush interior, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and shops. We loved the convenience of having a pub right next door, where we could unwind after a day of exploring. Despite the freezing weather, we still had a great time thanks to the comfortable and well-equipped cottage.
Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as a sliding toilet seat in the main bathroom and a slightly challenging oven to figure out, these were easily overshadowed by the overall positive experience we had. The cottage provided ample living space, much bigger than we expected, and the location was excellent, with a quiet beach just a short 2-minute walk away.

We booked Last Cottage for a last-minute getaway after our original plans fell through. The location near the seafront was perfect for us, and we found everything we needed at the nearby Co-op. The house itself was beautifully styled, with meticulous attention to detail and a spotless interior. It was an ideal setting to celebrate our son's 1st birthday, and we loved coming back to the cozy cottage after a day at the beach. The bath in the captains quarters was a fantastic touch, and the shower was amazing. The decor added a lovely finishing touch to the whole experience. We were also pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped facilities, including basic necessities like toilet roll. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved being able to walk to the golf course, restaurant, and Maritime Museum. The beach and promenade were just a short stroll away. The cottage itself had a lovely patio and cozy seating area. Oh, and let's not forget the private entrance, very posh indeed.
WiFi was just perfect, couldn't even watch Netflix properly. How terrible, I had to actually go out and explore!

There were a few minor issues, such as a sliding toilet seat and a slightly tricky oven. The duvets were a bit thin, which made us feel cold at times.

We had an amazing stay at this beautifully decorated and well-equipped house. It truly felt like a home away from home, especially with the thoughtful touches like a travel cot and highchair for our kids. The location was great, with easy parking right outside and the beach and play area nearby. We also appreciated the excellent communication from the owners and agent.
It would be nice to have a tray in the bedroom to hold shampoo and other bath essentials, as we didn't want to risk getting the floor wet. Additionally, a radio or small TV in the kitchen would have been great for some background noise.
